Home insurance & company address

    a friend of mine is a director of a newly started company. there are 3 other directors.
    Company adddress and Bank Account address is that of friends own(mortgaged) house.

    Their business plan doesn't materialised as expected, but they plan to retain the company and think of other options.

    Now, my friend got a concern about his Home Insuarance.
    somebody told him insurance guys tries everything to avoid paying him on a claim.

    Even if he is not doing any business from home, does company/bank address affects his home insurance anyway?
