Can anyone let me know if they have found a shop in Dublin that will replace the screen on mySmart Ultra 6 at a reasonable price.

I really like the phone but the screen is not as resilient as some mainstream phones.

I have searched google and boards and have only managed to find one option at a cost of €150 (not economic)

    All help greatly appreciated

    Conn

Well Conn. There comes a time when you have to weigh the device costs v new purchase. I would hold off if you can, I hear there's might be a new Smart Ultra 7 coming our way which will mean cheaper SU6s or an upgrade for you with a bit mote cash.

I had the same issue before with a nexus 4 in 2014 but I got it fixed as there was nothing to beat it off contract at that time.

Thanks for the response. I hear what you are saying but I have already bought 2 of these phones because the screen on the last one broke too. The hassle of setting up another phone the way I like it, is putting me off (also the amazon price has gone from 99 to 115 stg).

I found someone that will replace the screen for €60 but it will take 3 weeks to get stock in.

If there was somewhere that had them in stock in Dublin I would be delighted

    Cheers

Hi cionn, if you could let me know when and where you get the screen fixed id be delighted. Vodafone will do it for €90 but may take 5 working days.

    Cheers

I hate to say but I am still struggling along with a broken screen. The closest I have got to fixing it is a piece of selotape.

Sorry I haven't got a more specific update.

    Hi Cionn
I got the phone fixed at Fonefixer in the Ilac Centre for €85. I was Quoted by it-fix 111 capel st €65 but they had none in stock and were on order. That was 3 weeks ago and no word. Sorry for late reply but was away.

    good luck mate
