I'm in the market for a laptop and found one I'd like. There's a refurbished one and I'm just wondering whether anyone has experience with buying some from eBay?

Also if anyone has any experience with this one, called laptop outlet? I'm still getting used to eBay, but there's a €100+ difference between PC World/Currys and Amazon.

I have not had a bad experience with eBay but it is a marketplace with gazillions of different sellers both private and commercial. So your experience with one seller could be greatly different to another seller. Having said that eBay gives it way more structure as opposed to say donedeal with virtually no structure or protection. That and the feedback system makes it not much of a gamble I find. If someone has thousands of positive ratings they're obviously a decent enough business.

Same goes for amazon really only there is no bidding at all and the sellers are all commercial. But you know yourself as with all online shopping you need to know exactly what you want.
