State pension....qualified adult?

I'm about to reach age 66, and switch from Disability Allowance to Contributory State Pension.
My wife is in receipt of DA, and won't reach retirement age for some time.
Can I claim any extra pension payment for my wife as a qualified adult?
If so, will it affect her DA in any way?

Your wife is in receipt of €188 DA.
You cant also get a payment for her.
You can get a payment instead
However as you say you will get State pension Con, and she is under 66 then the max you will get for her instead is €155.50, so obviously she is better off to stay on her DA.

If your wife is in bad health, have you considered applying for Carers Allowance for her?
€121 possibly (means tested) for you on top of your pension.
