Lads and Lassies I,m drving a 99 astra with 100% genuine 85000 miles on original clutch but feels like its starting to slip under load. When that happens I throw it down lower gear and it has the instant boost and power of acceleration as if there was nothing wrong.Does this sound as though were looking at a full clutch replacement and any ideas of a decent price for renewel, also taking into account the car is 17 years old and what the car would be worth now with a very badly faded red colour body would it be wise to replace.Has passed the NCT the last 12 odd years I,ve owned it and its a great reliable runner that is serving me well,cheers...

Try euroclutch in baldoyle for a quote.
    I find them very good.

Get some compound and some elbow grease on the faded paintwork.

Stick your reg into micksgarage, search for a clutch and it will give you prices.
