I have never purchased anything from them but work colleagues have purchased various items

Nexus 5 & Moto 360 as examples. No delivery issues.

    Some price!

That is an outstanding price. Anyone buy off them before?

Looks like they have the 32gb versions for ~ €290 also.

I'm tempted, but have a 1+1, so it's actually a smaller screen than the one I have :(

Sorry for spamming the thread. The White version is available for 239.99 € on the EU site: http://www.eglobalcentral.eu/lg-google-nexus-5x-16gb-4g-lte-sim-free-unlocked-white.html

this site is good, i bought with them before, delivery can be a bit long

I have bought off them twice, once early last year with no problems whatsoever. My second order was a different story customs held the phone for two weeks, numerous emails back and forth with eGlobal who couldn't sort it out on their end and then I got hit with a €70 custom charge from DHL. They have a policy where they pay for any custom charges so I sent them the invoice but again it took them over 10 days to finally solve it.
Moral of the story just hope your phone sneaks through customs!

When checking out, in the country dropdown box, its not giving me Ireland as an option. Only UK, Gurensey and New Jersey. Am I doing something wrong or can it only be delivered to UK. Am using paypal as payment method, dont know if that matters

If you are using UK site , i think you need to use ParcelMotel , ParcelWizard etc .

or just use .EU website and there is Ireland for sure , i just checked .

Be careful with parcel motel though, if there are import/customs charges they will refuse the parcel. So that's not a good option for something like this.

Not sure about parcel wizard. I've never used them.

where are they coming from if there are import/customs charges?
are you sure there will be tax if using parcel motel?
is this place not in the uk?

I don't know I can't find this mentioned on their site anywhere but because DK224 says there were customs charges on one of his previous orders they must be located outside of Europe.

Considering the sometimes strange wording throughout the site I'd suspect Asia :) Nothing wrong with that, I've ordered from similar sites before, just have to keep in mind the possibility of customs issues and charges. DK224 said they will refund the charges but it wouldn't solve the parcel motel rejection problem.

It's a Chinese site as far as I remember. Do your research before committing.

The thread on HUKD is worth a read, it seems eglobal are selling an Asian version so some LTE bands don't work over here.

    LTE band 1(2100), 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 9(1800), 17(700), 18(800), 19(800), 20(800), 26(850), 28(700), 38(2600), 40(2300), 41(2500) - Global model

I bought this phone off eglobalcentral a month ago. Phone arrived quickly but stopped working a couple of days later.

Their returns process is a nightmare. There is at least a day lag on the emails between you and their returns department. Nearly a week into the email thread they asked me to send the phone back to a warehouse in England (my expense) which would then be shipped back to Hong Kong where they would look at the phone and make a decision. They pointed out their confusing terms and conditions and said if the fault didn't come within that they would charge to send me back the faulty phone. This didn't inspire much confidence and after reading some bad reports about others' experiences with returns I decided to keep the dud and buy again off amazon.

LG Ireland wanted nothing to do with it because the phone they sent me was from the UAE. Google couldn't help either.

Tl;dr: great price but be prepared for trouble if you need to return it.
