I get the above when I put pressure on my pedals or turn the cranks. Could it be the bottom bracket need re greasing?

I had that recently, LBS changed the BB and it persisted. It turned out to be the pedals and once I replaced them it was fine. It was very annoying when it was happening though.

I had that as well. turned out to be knackered bottom bracket.
make sure your pedals are properly tightened, sometimes this can be the issue as well.

Take off the pedals, grease the threads and tighten them back.

I was getting a click too with some power efforts, I removed the pedals, regreased them this evening. I did notice the pedal where the noise was coming from was very easily loosened, so maybe its loose?

noise travels through bike frames easily, and bad sounds often seem to come from bottom bracket. i had a sound like this but it turned out to be a freehub problem.
