Offensive words of the future

In this day and age should certain words be considered offensive at all.
There is an argument the use of offensive words legitimises thier use as a sluron one hand.
On the other hand it can be argued that people can take ownership of a word and it becomes a badge of pride!
There also seems to be a rule of thumb the when a section of people use a word that is offensive to thier people it becomes OK.

I used to watch the TV series Deadwood set in the late 1800s America. For those who did not watch it there is a lot of modern contemporary swear words in it.
The reason why was because if they used offensive words of the time period it would have sounded ridiculous. With a lot of "God Damns" and "Hell's"

I was wondering what offensive words of the future will sound like since many of the now offensive words will lose thier potency.

    Could the boardsies invent some?

I am sorry if boardsie is an offensive word! :)

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

When the robots take over "artificial intelligence" will probably become offensive to them, along with "robot" probably. I don't think there is an inoffensive term for an intelligent, self aware machine.

"Aluminium Brushed Cyberprick" being a personal favourite

To take the Lord's name in vain is already considered offensive.

I reckon we'll keep going through cycles of words that are currently PC terms becoming replaced and then being deemed offensive.

    African American
    Black (which is already debatable)
    Disabled
    Traveler
Little person (which I still can't quite believe is a PC term now!)

    etc.

I thought I had a great one "yer a dial up"

But apparently it has been used for at least 10 years already!

Black Americans use black themselves like Whites refer to themselves as white. African American is a too broad a term which doesn't take into account black Americans who's lineage may be not be of direct descent to Africa, Ethiopia via Jamaica for eg.

African American is such a ridiculous term. It leads to situations where you have Americans describing the likes of Idris Elba and Lewis Hamilton as African American.

I actually shouldn't roll my eyes over this because they'll go so far back in my head that they'll never come out again.

I genuinely thought they were words from a sci-fi book I'd read, maybe The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and googled them to find out exactly where they came from.

    I'm old, I guess I'm not such a hooby frood anymore :(.
