Aertel on Saorview

    Hey folks,

My parents recently got rid of UPC and got "saorview" installed. But they cannot receive aertel/teletext anymore.
When they first noticed this they called the installer and he said nothing he could do as it was an RTE issue.

The box they got is a 4IFE SV-402. From what I can make out this is not a Saorview approved box and will not get Aertel (MHEG5 or something?). Is that correct?

What's the best option now - they are lost without Aertel.....

    Cheers.

That box is a combo, so they get all the satellite stations too yeah.

Manually Tune in RTE1 on the satellite. Its encrypted, but the Aertel part isn't. Add it to their list of channels and rename it aertel. They just select the station and press Text.
