Can I get at least a Higher Level C3 in Spanish if I study a month before the exam?

That would probably depend on how good you are at Spanish.

I have a question similar to Gracie. Got a C grade in Junior cert Spanish (Honours). Would it be possible to do pass Spanish as an extra subject outside of school and just get pass in order to meet requirements of National Universities??

Yeah, just make sure your school knows when you're in 6th year that you plan to sit the subject for Leaving Cert.

Tks Basinga, but the real question is "how difficult will it be to do it outside of school. One grind per week??

I don't do Spanish so I've no idea honestly. You'd definitely need some sort of tuition for the Oral anyways.

I have to say though, if you're capable of getting a C at Higher Level for Junior Cert you're definitely able for the Higher Level Leaving Cert paper. Would it not work out better for you to work at Spanish in school and use it for points?

With languages, about 2 months before the start of the LC you have the Oral exam which is worth 25% of your total marks, if I am not mistaken. If you have not done the Oral exam at all, it may be harder to get a Higher level C3.

If you need it for the NUI requirements but not for the points, you just need to do well enough to get a pass at Ordinary level.
