does anyone have a way of contact cycling ireland - I have tried the phone numbers listed on their site, I have sent messages. Their phone system doesn't work 90% of the time I use it - press 1, press 2, press 4 - everything just goes to a dead end and cuts me off. Send them a message through their contact us page and automatic reply comes but the question is never answered.

anyone got another way to contact them????

I've never had a problem with the contact form, I've gotten responses from it within a day or 2. Sometimes hours.

I don't think I can give out other contact details here, but even the people I know might not be the best people for you.

waiting 3 days this time for someone to ring me from using the website contact us form and 4 days the last time. i'm not in Dublin so can't call in. Wave1 - I'll try that direct email and see if it makes a difference. I'm the club administrator. It was bad last year but this year seems to be impossible to get through.

Forget telephones that's a thing of the past !
Have used the contact me function repeatedly and always get a response within 2-5 days which is all thats needed.
    Have a bit of patience.

Not sure whether you're being serious but do you really think a 2-5 day response time is acceptable? Given that CI never answer the phone I think a maximum of 48 hours would be more reasonable!

Yes I do, most enquiries are fairly routine and a 2 day turn around seems reasonably good and 5 days acceptable.

If you want faster then a more expensive licence with an outsourced call centre service would be the answer. Dedicated call answering staff at CI more expensive still.

2-5 day turnaround is pretty good for a company looking to make profit, let alone a sporting federation.
Things could be improved yeah, but 2-5 days response time is the least of the worries for the sport in Ireland.

Can't imagine our customers considering a 2-5 day response time acceptable .... 2-5 hours would be more like it! Anyway we'll just have to agree to disagree but to my mind taking a week to answer an email is simply too long!

Maybe the companies I've been dealing with are terrible then, because most generic email or contact forms I use tend to take a few days :(
Different if you're dealing with someone direct though — I'd expect a response within a day.

E-mail them - much more efficient use of their time. That means they can properly prioritise rather than responding to whoever is shouting loudest.

I sent 2 e-mails to them last week - one on behalf of club to book Corkagh Park, the other to request indemnity letters for some overseas racing I will be doing later this year. Both requests were completely dealt with within 24 hours. This was my follow-up e-mail to them:
I know you guys sometimes get some stick when people try to call you by phone, but the service you provide via e-mail is always excellent (and in my view a much more efficient form of communication)
    ;)
