Trying to install TWRP on Three Mate S

Hi all,

I have this posted over on the XDA website (http://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-s/help/trying-to-install-twrp-mate-s-t3367459) but haven't found an answer yet.

In a nutshell, has anyone managed to install TWRP on a Three Huawei Mate S?

One other user in Ireland replied on the XDA thread and was having the same problem.

Hi I do not have your phone but I needed a custom recovery on my phone to boot into recovery. So maybe the same is happening to you.

So maybe try one of the recoverys from the link below. Also make sure you flash the one corresponding to your phone.

Thanks but the problem is that the recovery that is meant for this phone won't install on the Three version. Was hoping that someone with a Three Mate S might have found a solution.

That sucks. Small market here with it being locked to 3 and not the most popular phone. So chances a developer bringing out a fix is slim.

Sure try one of them anyway it will do no harm.
