Renting out our house for the summer

We'll be away for 2 months of the summer and had thought about renting out our house in Dublin as a short term let.
But there seems to be a lot of (potential) hassle involved for not a massive amount of money.
We've been renting out an apartment for the last few years so we're familiar with PRTB, tax, landlord insurance, eviction process.
But there's also the additional overhead of storing personal items, syncing on vacating days, house phone bills, noisy tenant annoying neighbours.
Has anyone on here tried renting out their house for the summer months and how did it go?
