    Hi there,
Myself and family are moving from Dublin to Clare at the end of May and need your help re removal van hire.
We would like to hire a van in Dublin and drive it to Clare, ideally leaving the van in Clare,is this an option? Would love to hear from anyone who has experience of this. Failing that option,my husband will drive a van down to Clare and return to Dublin either on same day or next day. Would like to keep costs down so if anyone can advise on a competitive removal van company it would be much Appreciate!
    Thanks in advance,ariele

Dooley rentals have van sites in Dublin and Shannon and allow pickup at one site and drop off at another. No idea how competitive they are compared to others though.

It's always more expensive for a one way rental. Best bet is to hire the van for a couple of days and then get the bus or train back.

this is true, but if the OP husband has to bring it back to dublin and go back to clare again, it may well not work out being more in total...
