Breeding age of Limousine Bull

Just have a question I know this is difficult to answer as it may vary from case to case. I have a limousine bull born last days of June 2015, currently around 400KG. He is well fed and appears well developed in all areas. I have six heifers to bull in June of this year , they AAx are from the dairy herd and some of my own shorthorn suckers to calf down next spring at two years old. My question is what age do the limousine usually begin working and have the ability to service without repeats? Would a fertility test be of use?

Would want to be 15 months at least, I'd say.

    15 months usually begin breeding.
Testing should be facilitated provided the animal is keep in good condition.

Depends on the bull but I'd be saying 15 months aswell. Saying that bought a 12 month old lad last year and he bulled a few after coming but wouldn't like to be relying on them at that age.

I'd say if you didn't want him to bull a heifer he surely would.
Generally from 12 mths I'd be thinking they'd get a calf but I wouldn't run a bull that young with heifers.
