Gas Regulator

    Hi all.

I was looking at buying a bbq but the one I have my eye on has a regulator that it threaded on to the cylinder.

The rating on the bbq regulator is 1.5 kg/hr. My question is, can I swap this for a standard regulator like you would have for a gas cooker. I noticed online that they are rated for 2kg/hr. Would this cause a problem?

kg/h is only the max flow rate, gas type and pressure is what would count.

    Ask yourself this first:

    1. Why would you want to?
    2. Do you know what your about to do?
    3. Do you understand the consequences of what can happen if you do it wrong?
    4. Do you know how to test if you have done it right?

BBQs maybe unregulated, but thats not to suggest they are not dangerous (if you don't know what your doing)
