Ford fiesta aerial

    Hey all

The aerial on my girlfriends 2007 fiesta snapped off. Looks like the screw sheared off with some left in the base and some in the actual aerial antenna.

Is this an easy DIY fix, can the screw be removed with an easy-out bit or does the whole unit need to be replaces? Looking online the best option might be to buy a whole new mount and aerial antenna?

    Anyone any similar experience?

    Cheers

you'd have to take the headling down a bit to get at the but for the antenna. is there any of the old antenna sticking out beyond the base? if so just make a slot with a hacksaw and unscrew with a flat scewdriver. you may even be able to turn it with a flat screwdriver if it's in a bit.
