Cannondale or Lapierre

One if the lads in the club has the cannondale and loves it, my own preference is a version without disc brakes but if you want disc then they seem to be pretty good.

I like Lapierre bikes generally but don't like what they have done around seat tube.

Is your local bike shop only carrying those brands or are they your preferred brands?

They carry other brands, and I'm not limited to the 2 linked. I'm more ruling out online as opposed to brands

The synapse was on my short list at the end of last year, and, like Shaka, I prefer non-discs. I like that colour scheme too, so out of those two I'd go with the Cannondale. (I got a Rose online in the end)

Discs not allowed in competitive CI events so just be aware of that if you have even the slightest thoughts about racing.
