hi guys, I have a 2003 Mondeo with a couple of problems that I would like some help with.
the engine struggles to keep revs up when sat at lights/ junction etc. it will either cut out completely or a last second pick the revs back up . second problem is the alarm randomly goes off could be many times a day or maybe only once a week

    thanks in advance

Presume we are talking about a 1.8 petrol here if so there is a vacuam hose down in the middle of the inlet manifold that splits which may be your problem if not you will need to read fault codes and take it from there.

The alarm going off is most likely a faulty lock what i would try first is the bonnet lock dissconnect the little plug that goes onto the lock and cross the two pins in the plug with a piece of wire tape them up with insulating tape see does that solve your problem.
