Big one for rugby fans. You can get flights for this June for 355 and go see the Ireland tests.

    It's not that cheap.
Turkish and Ethiopian regularly have return flights for around €390

They have return flights from where?

I'm flying from Cork for just over 400 euro.

    Add your reply here.
Its a big advantage to just have a stop over in Gatwick rather than Istanbul. Plus BA is a better airline than Ethiopian. I booked it last night but be very careful people, lot of the options involve getting from Heathrow to Gatwick.
I booked this with budgetair.ie how do I get air miles if I don't go direct with airline?

If you go via Istanbul then the flights were 21 hours, via London my flights are 16 hours.

Downside going via UK is that you have to go through customs and immigration there, and then all over again in Dublin.

What as opposed to the direct flights? (that don't exist)

Assuming you're already registered with BA's executive club or another Oneworld carrier, get your PNR from your email confirmation & log onto BA.com to add your FF number to the itinerary. If you run into trouble, Budgetair should also be able to add it to the booking.

Lots of connection airports don't require you to go through border control and customs.

Great bargain, would this work the other way around as in South Africa to Ireland? I'm on my phone so can't play with dates. I've a friend out there and would like to show them around Ireland.

As opposed to going through another hub on the way, and then only going through immigration in Dublin. Travelling through the UK, you have to go from the international side to the domestic side, and clear immigration on the way.
