full disk encryption for a home user

    I'm running Windows 7 at the moment.

    I would like to install some full disk encryption software.

    - I'm prepared to pay, but not too much. €25 a year does not seem unreasonable for the right solution.
    - I would like to be able to recover data easily if the rest of my PC breaks. For example I would like to be able to mount my system drive into another PC and access my data (with the password)

    The web is a minefield of options and I'm hoping someone may have experience with this.

    Any suggestions? Thanks
