    Attending a wedding in a country house, when sitting outside in the gardens I spied a hare.
    The Hare seemed disinterested in all the commotion, obviously quite used to the noise and people being around. Anyhow the hare trotted off but suddenly in a small flower bed beside us we noticed a leveret.
    Obviously mammy hare had just been checking up, and the leveret was also undisturbed by people so close.
    Anyhow, a strange sight so close to people but very nice to see.

    I remember shooting at Esker Shooting Grounds a few years ago and a leveret sat for the duration of the event less than a barrel length from the shooting line... and never moved an inch. And no ear muffs either!

    At Loch Ness shooting grounds the deer come out from the forest when there is a clay shoot going on and munch the grass within pellet drop range because they have worked out then when there is clay shooting there are no stalkers!
