    Not sure that's waterproof.
Got the sun mountain h2no which has a decent amount of space.
Go-kart are doing a nice looking bag that they say is waterproof. It's reasonably priced as well.

I'm in the same boat and have been looking at the

    Titleist StaDry Cart Bag

Looks good and it's fully waterproof. It's not cheap though!

Just be careful guys .... you are looking at cart bags, I bought one only to find out they have square bases and are designed for Golf Buggys and not trolleys or golf gliders etc. It would not sit properly and drove me mad, but that could just be me.

Cart bags are a great fit for trolleys. I bought a Titliest cart bag this year and love it.

That stay dry titlesit looks good.

Went to american golf today and noticed mid size tour bag i mentioned earlier doesnt have the usual 14 dividers but 6.

The bag has pockets on all four sides. When i asked the guy in the shop how do you use the back pockets when on the cart he said you cant and its designed for pro tour..which i assume means to be carried which is daft!!

    The look goes on!!

Now think mizuno to match my irons (i know sad!!)

    I just found out that the Titleist doesn't have 14 full length dividers, which may not be ideal so I've been looking at a real treat (and a very expensive one!) in this;

+1 for Big Max....I got one (Aqua i dry) last year and played in absolutely torrential weather at times over the winter ( and spring ) and everything in every pocket was bone dry at the end of the round.

Just to add to this, I bought the Titleist Stadry bag today and used it immediately. Lovely bag, looks great and has loads of room, however it's clearly designed for the US market where they use buggies as the hood is effectively the wrong way around and utterly useless on a trolley as the zip is on top! So in other words, if I want my clubs (and the inside of the bag) to stay dry while sitting on my Clicgear trolley, I have to close the zip fully every time I take a club out of the bag! It's utter ****e! Also, because the bulk of the hood is on the bottom, it means I can't access the pouch or pocket in the Clicgear at all!

In my view the bag is incorrectly marketed as a waterproof trolley bag and I will be getting in touch with Titleist UK to see what they have to say. I can't bring the thing back now that I've used it but I'm very unhappy with it. Just something to keep in mind if anyone else is considering it.

    Great review.

played yesterday and it bucketed down for 4 holes.

Everything drenched reminded me of the need to get a waterproof bag sooner rather later

    I've emailed Titleist customer support to see what they say. Maybe nothing, and I'll have to decide whether to put up with it or sell it on eBay or something. It'll be a shame, as it looks the part;

    t7zz2x.jpg

You can clearly see the zip in the picture though - what a stupid place to put it

My current bag has the same desugn which i always thought was a bit stupid!! But its ok when the brolly is up on the holder..

Father in law has a taylormade monaco bag and it looks good. Cost a 100£. Its got a proper hood pity i cant get the same bag as him again!!

This is the bag I was talking about, a Taylor Made Catalina and others like it ......

    Taylormade-Catalina-Bag-4.jpg

I bought it online and whilst it looked great, but it would not sit properly on my trolley ..... so my point is not all cart bags are perfect and some like this one are more designed to suit a buggy despite being marketed as a cart bags.

    I just received the following email from Titleist;
    Hi Simon,

Thank you for your email and feedback regarding our StaDry Cart Bag.

We are working to resolve this hood issue at the moment with a design that works on a trolley (opposed to a buggy).

In the meantime, please could you send me your address and when I have the new hood, I will send you one straight away. I expect this to be sent in the next 3-4 weeks.

Please can you also let me know what Titleist golf ball model you play as I would like to send you a dozen to thank you for your purchase of the golf bag and the trust you have with the Titleist brand.

That's pretty good customer service. The hood is my only complaint so by fixing that, I'll be a happy customer again. The dozen golf balls is a big bonus too! :D

Great thread so far, Im in a similar situation, want to get a waterproof bag for my push trolley.

    I am looking at:
    https://golfsupport.com/golf-bags/golf-trolley-bags/ogio-aquatech-cart-bags
    and
    https://golfsupport.com/golf-bags/golf-trolley-bags/sun-mountain-h2no-lite-cart-bag

The Sun mountain bag got amazing reviews in terms of being lightweight and ability in wet conditions, but it fell down in terms of usability with a trolley (no grab handles, weak umbrella holder)

The Ogio I am finding hard to find reviews of from a trolley users perspective.

Any other waterproof bags I should consider, the lighter the better.

Sorry this may be a daft question - have you tried turning it around - would have been so easy to design it that way ?

Yeah, I thought I put it on wrong the first time but the buttons to fix the hood to the bag are aligned in a certain way meaning it'll only fit on the bag with the zipper facing upwards. Very poor design, though if they sort it out (like they said they would) it'll be fine.

Good to see such a big company taking customer service seriously.

Glad to see this thread exists. Also in the market and looking for a trolley bag with a separate putter divider, ability to store an umbrella and a cool pocket for drinks.

    Looking at

This TaylorMade from Halpenny for €215 - http://www.halpennygolf.com/en/TaylorMade-Waterproof-Cart-Bag/m-7975.aspx

or this Big Max I-Dry Aqua Waterproof Golf Cart Bag online for €155 + delivery which I expect to be circa €15 although the checkout is indicating FOC delivery to Ireland. - http://www.clubhousegolf.co.uk/acatalog/Big-Max-i-Dry-Aqua-Golf-Cart-Bag-Black.html#SID=1306

My preference is for the TaylorMade but the I-Dry seems to have a lot to offer but may not have a separate putter divider.

Any thoughts? Can anyone confirm that the hoods for both of the above are the right way round for trolley use and not designed for cart use like the Titleist?

    Same boat as yourself.

I'm aghast how few photos of bags companies have on their official websites, many only seem to have only one which makes trying to purchase online near impossible!

I was tempted by sun mountain h2no when on sale in McGuirks but could not figure out if trolley base fits electric trolley

Now looking at motocaddy bag ...

I have the big max i dry and find it fantastic in the worst of weather...absolutely nothing gets damp.
It doesnt have a seperate putting well but I dont have a problem with that.
Hood / zip is correct way round for cart/ trolley..fits perfectly on my Powacaddy and access to all zips and pockets great.

Just looking at the bag on your link....it is slightly different to mine but presume all are basically same dimensions. Forgot to mention it also has cooler pocket and front internal divider is more or less designed for putter

Do you mind me asking in what way the bag I linked to differs to yours?

I think this is the same as the one I linked to earlier

    151569Idry1470772824.gif

It looks like it has everything I want bar the separate putter divider but as I don't use an oversized grip on my putter that's not a deal breaker for me. At €155 delivered I don't think I'll get a better deal anywhere on a 100% waterproof bag which is designed for use with trolleys rather than carts.

Just as an FYI "cart" bags are designed for a golf cart as the Americans call them ie a golf buggy as opposed to an electric trolley. Seemed to be a little confusion above.

My bag almost exactly the same except hasn't got the large lettering. It fits electric trolley noprob so assume all these bags will do the same. Internal putting divider takes a super stroke grip if you need it. For that price looks like you are getting a bargain....winter and summer

Thanks Dennyire, I just ordered it there. I can't really justify the TaylorMade bag when the I-Dry comes with a 2 year guarantee. £129.99 delivered is a savage price as far as I'm concerned.

The TaylorMade is available for £134.95 here - http://www.golfgeardirect.co.uk/taylormade-waterproof-golf-cart-1228803.html

Thanks for the input, appreciate it.

Bit of a SNAFU in my house.

I mentioned I was looking at the TaylorMade bag last week in general conversation but went ahead and ordered the I-Dry which arrived a couple of days ago. Turns out the family have purchased the TaylorMade for me as it's coming up to my birthday so now I have two bags and need to shift one. Personally I'd probably prefer the I-Dry but I think it would be rude to sell or return the TaylorMade given it was a gift so I'm putting the I-DRY up for sale on Adverts, see http://www.boards.ie/ttfthread/2057635754.

The €185 asking price is to allow for the usual low ball offers and some negotiation. If I can get close to what I paid for it (€160) I'll sell it otherwise I'll return it for a credit as there's a 14 day no quibble refund policy.

If any Boardsie want's a brand new I-DRY for €150 with a voucher for a free I-DRY golf umbrella included please PM me.

Hi all, looking for advise if anyone has used any of the following or any opinions. Have about 120 max to spend on a new bag. Looks to be decent value on sports direct. What do you think of the following? My only must-haves are 14 way divider and plenty of pockets, not too worried on name or style.

    http://ie.sportsdirect.com/taylormade-pro-golf-cart-bag-873014?colcode=87301440

    http://ie.sportsdirect.com/callaway-x-series-golf-cart-bag-873053?colcode=87305344

    http://ie.sportsdirect.com/cobra-fly-z-golf-cart-bag-873098?colcode=87309890

Shipping is 7 euro to Ireland. So all just about within budget, any opinions?
