Maintenance: any point?

Just wondering if there is any point seeking maintenance from my ex- husband as he is not working and not in receipt of any state benefits. He is living with his new partner - She is working so they are assessed jointly. Court order in place for minimal amount but not being paid.

3 children 9-14 years. Sees 2 of them for an average 7-8 hours a week. Older child does not want to see him.

I am lucky to be working and other than child benefit, I do not receive any assistance from the state. He does not contribute anything to the house etc either. I am finding it a real struggle at the moment.

Just don't Want to waste my time going back to court for the judge to say he does not need to pay anything towards his children. On the other hand, they are getting very expensive 😫 so would be nice to have a little bit of money.

    Thanks in advance.
