Car suspension bushes gone on rear side

My car is a 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer, a mechanic had a quick look at it and said that the Bushes are gone on the suspension , now that means nothing to me but Im wondering does anyone know approximately how much that would cost to fix ? they wouldn't give me a price said i need to leave it in.

Unfortunately I only have Sundays off work for the next few weeks and they don't open Sundays. So I need a rough idea at how much I'm looking at so I can shop around and see if there is anywhere I could get it done on a Sunday. Also is that dangerous to be driving around on ?

It depends on which bushings are gone. If it's anti roll bar bushings they should be cheap and quick to replace.
Beam bushings or similar would be more expensive and take a fair bit longer to replace.

They are usually replaced in pairs, left and right side.

So did he only have a quick visual look at it or did he put it up on a lift and get a pry bar and physically move the suspension arms and roll bar to see which bushings were worn?
