WTD,Garmin 500 back cover

    Long shot,I broke the tabs,just wondering has anyone got one lying around that's for sale,just the back cover with the tab part

    Tabs busted on mine so had to order a part from Usa to fit over existing back. Cost around €24 delivered but supposed to be a proper fix.

    Dogearsgps is the site afaik.

    Also worth approaching Garmin to see if they will repair under warranty (even if outside the warranty period), as others here have had success with it on the basis that the tabs are something that should never really break in the lifespan of the unit.

    I tried Garmin but they are having none of it ,service not great as the Garmin hasn't been crashed,obviously the tabs are not built very well
