I'm doing a degree in business, and I'm just about to finish year one. I plan on returning in September for year two. I get a btea payment of €188 a week. I've found a company who are willing to take me on as as intern through jobbridge. Will I be allowed to participate in this scheme for three months, then leave it and return to my btea payment for the college year?

Jobbridge internships are for a period of 6 months or 9 months. I suppose there is nothing stopping you from withdrawing from the internship after 3 months and returning to college. Just double check with your local office.

You have to be on a qualifying payment for three months before being eligible for Jobbridge. BTEA counts towards the qualifying period but only if you have completed the course for which you were awarded BTEA.
