I don't agree with that. Wiggle, chain reaction...etc have all got no hassle return policies. You won't find the range of options available in any bricks and mortar store in Dublin. I have never bought in a store because the brands and options are too limited. That's not their fault, it's just too hard to compete with the online stores.

Once you get to know the fit of a couple of brands it's hassle free.

If you hurry, Lidl might have some of these left http://www.lidl.ie/en/Offers.htm?id=772

Then on May 1st Aldi will have these in https://www.aldi.ie/en/specialbuys/sun-1-may/

And if you want to support local, your local bicycle store will also have a good range.

In terms of selection Base2 Race in Sandyford has a great range, Dave Kanes cycling boutique in Belfast brilliant as well

I was hoping to support my LBS but to be honest it only stocks 'Look' gear which is outragously expensive plus I don't have a Look bike... I might try Chain Reaction...

Buy a measuring tape and get someone to take your measurements. Almost all websites have sizing guides relating to differing manufacturers and they are generally pretty accurate.

Try the "DHB" brand on Wiggle. They do a great range from basic to performance levels.

I like to support the LBS when I can and it's mainly only for smaller items or maintenance. For example I bought a set of wheels for 320euro online and my LBS wanted to charge me 580 euro...I under they have overheads... I couldn't support them in that case.

I was in the new CycleSuperstore on Sunday, large selection of clothing. A lot of premium brands but some reasonable items too.
I bought some stuff there and figured out my correct size for others with the aim of buying online where the % savings are significant.

Great store btw, coffee shop inside too :)
