My doc seemed to think 5 to 7 days for an SNRI.

My pharmacist seemed to think about a month would yield full result.

My experience with Zispin was, a week, two weeks was working full throttle, but maybe SSNRI's differ...?

Depends on the drug. I've been taking zispin for 4 weeks tomorrow had some relief in 1st week but not working fully yet. Some take 6-8 weeks to work. Usually if you see some positive effects in first 2 to 3 weeks then it can mean that the outcome will be favourable.
As for snris I've never heard of them working in 5 to 7 days. I'm on cymbalta which is an snri and it took a full month to see very slight changes. Everybody reacts differently though. Patience is needed.

    Oh very interesting.

My GP is somewhat of a stork I'm thinking.

    Christ not again.

Surely there's a pharmacology forum somewhere you can troll instead?

OP, it's dependant of the drug, the dose and the person taking it, hence you didn't get concrete answers from gp or pharmacist, you'll have to keep in touch with gp and also perhaps ask a friend/family member/partner if they notice anything.. Keeping a diary is also helpful. You won't find anything definitive here..
