Can anyone recommend a decent uhf indoor aerial.the one i have is one of those square amplified ones(i know the amplified part means nothing) it works perfectly giving great pictures on the tv, but every 5 mins or so it goes on the blink for about 5 seconds which is obviously annoying.i am in a good reception area and checked all the connections so i am guessing its just a crappy aerial, any suggestions would be appreciated.

See sec 8.2 of this Saorview FAQ (p.22) regarding indoor aerials - http://www.2rn.ie/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/RTÉNL-SAORVIEW-FAQs-May-2012-Rev-7.1.pdf

Indoor aerials are susceptible to local interference and signal can vary from location to location indoors no matter how good the signal is outdoors. The Saorview network is designed around reception with an outdoor aerial.
