    Hi
We as a family are planning to move to Celbridge in the coming months and we were looking for primary school admissions. Unfortunately it seems they dont have any place left.

I would like to know is there any rule to give compulsory admission for a particular school catchment area especially in the case of school transfers.
Please feel free to comment as any information is welcomed.

Is there a particular ethos you wish him to attend?

Nothing like that, but the schools in the area should offer a place in their own catchment. Is there any rules guiding these....

No , there is no rule saying a child must be admitted to a local school.

Each school sets its own enrollment criteria so you need to contact each school.
