Possible daft question, but now that 3 have taken over O2, and both Meteor and Tesco piggybacked off O2, will all those sim cards work in all those networked phones without needing unlock?

Metoer have their own network (which eir are a rebrand of).

You still need unlocks as the networks have their own op codes.
