We've used one like that before but find a good strong strimmer and heavy duty string better

I've been looking at different strimmer heads the last few days.
Oregon (the chainsaw chain crowd) do one called the 'jet fit' trimmer head.
    €21 from Clarke Distributors.

Never seen one like that before, if it saves the torture of looking for the spring or the
brass rings in long grass it's worth the money!

When is bad we put the topper on the tractor with it offset to get under the wire.

Good string and a dispenser head like mention is a super job.

Thanks guys might try the jet head from Clarke's worth a try. Find the blades are fine but it you clip a stone or heavier piece of timber they are easy enough damage

Looking on the google there are some serious looking blades in the US for heavier stuff delivery costs make them expensive though.

Try to stay away from the spraying as much as possible but the Grazon 90 might be the best option for one ditch in particular got them all done with hedge cutter 18months ago but they're back as strong as ever and the thoughts of taking down wire and putting back up again is not very appetizing
