Tyres with best rim protectors

Hey guys . Can anyone recommend a tyre with good rim protectors . Size is 225/40/18
I know some people say they do nothing but since we got tyres without them the rims have been wrecked. Getting them refurbed soon so looking for recommendations on tyres?

Ps: decent tyres ,no Chinese ditch finders ;-)

I got Falken Azenis's there. decent looking rim protection on them and very good wet weather performance.

I'd suggest to use proper glasses. For both angle grinding and posts reading.

The only tyre comparable to the Eagles that I know of is the Michelin Pilot Sport/Supersport.

I've heard those alloygator's actually scratch/damage alloys themselves, especially if anything (e.g. road dust) gets in behind them while they're attached. I'd steer clear of them anyway based on that.

for anyone else that is looking for rim protectors
I tried out the Goodyear Eagle F-1 Asymmetric 3 and while the rim protectors do cover the rims they are only just big enough . if i was going again id get the Asymmetric 2 instead they are far superior for rim protection
