Mini disc / Tape old type of Aux in.

Looks like it would have been an optional module fitted between the Volume and Tune knobs

I'm looking for something that I can play music from iPhone or an external mp3 player. Any suggestions? And if you know something that fits there.

Basically that CD player is modular, and you could fit a specific cassette or minidisc deck in the space under the number buttons.

The easiest way to get this to play your MP3 would be to buy an FM modulator that taps into the antenna input on the headunit.

Wow... do you have something like a photo to show me how I can do it ?

you basically need one of these
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Veba-Modulator-transmitter-AVFM-MOD01-iPhone/dp/B00FV82TMS

    or similar.

don't worry too much about the modular minidisc/tape thing. that's just the reason you have those buttons that don't do anything.

so you're unplugging the antenna plug out of your radio. then you plug it into this box which allows the radio signal to pass through it so you can listen to the radio as normal. there is an antenna plug that comes out of the box and into your radio.

you wire the box up to a 12v power feed (there will be a few you can tap into behind the radio or cigarette lighter

you also plug the supplied 3.5mm to RCA lead into the box. the box converts the audio signal into an FM transmission that can be picked up on your radio. there's usually a few preset frequencies that it can transmit on - say 87.4 97.6 and 107.9
all you do then is tune your radio to 87.4 97.6 or 107.9 (for example) to hear your mp3 player.
you get a choice of frequencies as there may be radio stations broadcasting on the same frequency.

These really are a piece of cake to install. The mazda radio comes out really easily.

    alternatively
There is also a really complicated way to do it that involves buying the caasette module for your Mazda radio, and soldering the headline cable to it but tbh it's pretty complex and the fm modulator is a plug and play solution.
Advantage is that you just press the Tape button on your radio and it comes on.
