Cold water running but hot doesnt

Hey guys so we have oil heating in the house and our hot water and cold water was running fine until hot water stopped working like we got two taps one is hot and one is cold cold water normally runs and the hot water doesn't but then the next day hot water works and then some day it might stop working like no water coming…

It seems like an airlock, have you had plumbing repairs carried out recently, or did your storage tank run dry?.
