Hi I got made redundant from my job January 2015 was on jobseekers benefit till September. Now I am on job seekers allowance after been means tested with my husband self employed and on approx 350 a week I got jobseekers of 42 a week. I have recently been to doctor and bcoz of pregnancy related issues she has given me a cert so I've sent this off to social welfare. Does anyone know am I entitled to this after coming from jobseekers allowance ? I employed with company for 13 years and have used my stamps as my jobseekers benefit has ended. Would I just get 42 on illness too or what way would it work .
    thank

If you have enough contributions in 2014 and have enough overall then your should qualify for illness benefit.
