Saw this being reported in the Examiner. Can't link it, he is leaving for personal reasons in september, being replaced by his assistant ceo.

Thinking was that this was always going to a short term firefighting tenure. Seems MH is quite the political entity. However spending less than a year is definitely surprising.

    Going before he was pushed!

Would love to see him back at EI but it would never happen.

why is he being pushed do you know?

not working out or just a bad company in general?

As stated above MH are a very much a political company. The appointment of Mueller wasn't viewed very well at the time. In his shirt tenure a lot of slashing has happened and it seems the rudder has been shifted (with more worj to be done) Perhaps he wasn't happy with the situation, perhaps he was going before getting pushed or perhaps things weren't working our for him with his kids being back in Ireland. Leaving after less than a year will definitely hurt him financially, in terms of bonus payments, so it was certainly not trivial. Who will know in the end what the actual reason was.

Well, at least not until the biography...

Kevin Steele didn't last long at Biman either, but in both cases they probably did what was intended; acted as the drop-in hatchet-men to make painful changes.
