What do ye use for bolting rabbits along hedgerows? I've shot rabbit before with 4s but they were all stalked and shot standing still. I don't trust my accuracy on moving targets with 4s!

Heavy 5's would be about as low as I'd expect would be properly effective at any sort of range, haven't ever used 6's for ...well anything now that I come to think about it, always been 7 for trap, and 4-5 for fieldwork, so I'm open to correction.

If you're unsure about your aim, then tip down to your local clay grounds and spend a few sessions on the bunnies there.

Well I got out Sunday evening for a few hours.

Heaps of rabbits around but only bothered to fire at 2, pulled both shots low with the SxS.

    Was using 6's.

A trip to the clay range is in order I think, haven't been able to hit ANYTHING lately.

32g 6 is a great all rounder for everything. never had any issues knocking rabbits with them.

Whatever is your pocket from 30g 7 1/2 upwards to a 36g 4 will do the job...Rabbits aren't exactly hard to kill cleanly.

32 6s I've always used for rabbits Nd it's a good crow or pigeon round aswell. Pretty much cover all quarry with em when out and about
