    It's the older one almost certainly. Not a huge difference, just upgraded core-m processor.

    While the €300 discount on the previous rev is nice, I think I'd still go for the new model. There's a lot of small improvements across multiple components: slightly faster RAM, slightly better graphics, slightly faster SSD, slightly faster CPU. Plus an extra hour of battery life. It adds up. With the Pro or the Air it wouldn't matter so much, but given how underpowered that machine was to begin with, I'd take every performance enhancement I could get.

    Thanks , think Harvey advertising this as the new macbook, is a bit misleading.

    It does come down to price and spec. Pity they didn't put a better camera than 480p in new model and more improvements.

    That's what Apple originally launched it as the 'new MacBook'. I don't think they are trying to be deceptive.
