Unfortunately I managed to put a few scratches into the acrylic / perspex covering the instrument cluster. Hence can anyone recommend a suitable fix?

Preferably something that i could pick up this weekend at a decent auto factors and preferably something that won't be too dusty / messy!

Not a whole lot that can be done unfortunately. You'd have to remove it and polish it.

I didnt realize this was about the same thing when I put out my cry for help!

I have some swirl marks on my speedo too and another kind user pointed me towards an older thread where a product called displex was recommended.

They have it on amazon, might be worth a go for you too,its fairly inexpensive.

Meguiars do a product called PlastX which is normally for faded headlights but it's for removing scratches from plastic.

Thanks - will have a read up about both items and take it from there.
