    I use a red lamp from ludicrous lumens.

    I've had it 3 years and it's fantastic value for money.

    I have both and use the green led when lamping. I got the Nightmaster mount too which allows me to "zero" the beam to the scope

    And what distances are you getting the beam out to?? Do they have the variable focus ??

    With the Xsearcher I can see well out beyond 300 yds and have taken rabbits out to 250.
    The head is turned to focus the beam, you can have a wide flood or tight strong beam.
