DIY Nest Install - Am I Silly?

I have a Nest and I was thinking about trying to install it myself. It's not cheapness, it's just I want to get more handy with these types of things (ok... it's a LITTLE bit cheapness :pac: )

My setup is attached below. It's a Viessmann Vitodens 100-W wired into the house to a basic Heatmiser.

Based on the below should I be able to just connect the wires on the heatlink and the thermostat and then fire it all up? I've seen some DIY videos about needing to make changes to connections on the boiler itself - that seems a bit rich for my blood.

Feel free to tell me to not be an idiot and get a pro to do it (how much should I expect to pay roughly on my setup?).

    Thanks in advance

Can't post pics/links, but it's the separate box wired to the boiler which has the zones and comms and an on-off toggle.

Unless you are VERY comfortable with wiring, don't go there, potential to damage control boards etc (then it won't be cheap!)
    or worse, electrocute yourself.
Any working on the boiler itself is restricted to RGI's only by law

That kind of what I thought. Thanks. What do you estimate I should be paying for this - I have a callout booked anyway for a boiler service, so like €50ish?

Depends on the wiring involved, pretty straight forward, yeah 50 onto would be reasonable IMO

Bearing in mind that its one zone per Nest, perhaps the post should read "Nest Install - Am I Silly?" as how will you split out the other zones?
