Cartell report

    Just curious about a few things I noticed on the report,

    It's on its fourth owner but cartell only lists three,,

    First registered 31mar 09 and second owner bought car on 6 5 09. So why was first owner not listed?

    Also there are two trade sales mentioned -first one was sold after 2weeks but the second trade was not sold until seven months later, is that normal? Car is astra

    I am open to correction, but I think Cartell will list the number of previous owners (prior to the current owner).
    The 1st owner would appear to be the Dealership registering the car to themselves. They registered it on the last day of the first Quarter, probably to meet Sales Targets/Quotas.
    The 1st Trade Sale seems fairly innocuous. A garage took it as a trade-in and sold it on 2 weeks later.
    The 2nd Trade Sale could be where a smaller Trader kept (and used) the car for a while before selling it.....or any one of a dozen more reasons.


    edit: a quick look at the Cartell site says that they will list the number of previous owners (in the same way that your VLC does, if you're the 1st owner it will show "previous owners" as 0). So, the report you got from them is accurate regarding the number of previous owners.
