Selling a van with expired motor tax

Quick question. I'm selling my old van (commercial taxed) and it has been off the road since janurary. The tax is expired since the end of Feburary and unfortunately I didn't declare it off road as I intended selling it before. If I sell it now am I liable for the arrears?

    Thanks for any answers

If the rules are the same as cars then you aren't liable for arrears.
