WTD: DT Swiss Freehub Campagnolo

I'm currently converting all my Shimano bikes to Campagnolo and I'd like to keep my DT Swiss R23 Spline (11spd Shimano) wheels but I need a Campagnolo freehub.

I realise it's a bit of a long shot but has anyone done the opposite (Campagnolo to Shimano) and has a Campagnolo freehub lying around. I believe the freehub is the same as the one on the DT Swiss 240s Rear Road Hub.

    Thanks

Probably not worth the bother - your 11speed Shimano cassette will work perfectly with an 11s Campagnolo chain/crank.

Yes, I ran an 11 speed 105 for about 1000km, it works, it's fine but it's much smoother with a Chorus cassette.

Is it the campy version of the following you are after?
    http://www.bike-discount.de/en/buy/dt-swiss-rotor-kit-shimano-s11-road-for-240s-162205?currency=1&delivery_country=71

I Have a set of the same wheels as you with a Campy one on it, and I bought the above to convert it to Shimano.

Excellent, do you still have the Campagnolo freehub you took off? If so is it in working condition? Roughly how many km's on it?

It is still attached to the wheel, unused. I never even got around to doing the rim tape, never mind swapping out the freehub! :o

I think it's a fairly straightforward job to remove the freehub, I'll check tonight. Any thoughts how much you want for it?

As far as I can remember you can pull the Freehub off by hand, handy enough to swap over, I think.

I suppose I should ask where you are based? I'm in South Dublin/Firhouse/knocklyon'ish.

I paid 70 for the shimano one, so if I got 35 for the Campy one I'd be happy.

You are more than welcome to take if off the wheel yourself, if you are Dublin based :) Otherwise I can throw up some pics of the wheels/hub to verify it being new/unused.

On a side note... how do you find the wheels? Mine are not the 2015/16 18c version but the 622x15c ones.

I'm south Dublin/Dundrum area, will we say €30 and I'll meet you wherever suits you?

Mine are the wider rims, they've survived a winter and about 5000km very well. With the wider rim, some tyres seem to need a bit of extra encouragement to get them on. And I can't really feel the benefit of 25c tyres, I still prefer 23's. That said they're very good wheels almost as good as my Zondas.

35 and I will meet you tomorrow evening(if is suits you) and we can take it off the wheel.

I think 35 is a fair price and there will be no messing about either, I pride myself on making these transaction super easy! I'll travel over to meet you too and if you are OK with it PM me you moby.

I'll be out cycling tomorrow but will be OK for the evening and any day next week bar Tuesday.

Hi, Thanks but I've recently learned that the free hub I need has a 3 pawl system, the pawls can be seen attached to the body of the freehub when it's taken off. Your freehub looks like the other type of system that DT Swiss use.
    Thanks anyway.
