Red car park, you enter up by the same entrance as Tesco but head into the underground. Then it's the first right and right again after the barriers.
    Two spots available.
I think there's others belonging to Renault but not sure where and if they are normally locked. Might be worth asking on one of the FB groups

As you come down the ramp at the Tesco entrance you can see the spots through the glass and you will know if they are available or not. Its a cul-de-sac section of the car park so no point in pulling into it if the spaces are occupied

Thanks folks. Wife parked in dundrum presently extracting Her moneys worth from the centre .

Incidentally, she also stopped in carrickmines and found the ac there to be faulty.

I was there yesterday as well and I don't think I did anything wrong but the right side of the first charger didn't work.

Only 1 side of each of the two chargers is available. Was the port on the other side available?

It was. The left side worked.

There's actually an EV sign with an electronic counter for available spaces at the turn for them just after the entrance to the car park. Very handy.

It's level 2M if anyone is looking for them.

On one of the two chargers, management asked ESB to turn one side off to prevent one of the disabled bays being used as EV charging overflow during busy periods.

When they were repainting the car park I put in a request that they consider marking that space as EV charging as well... because the disabled spaces are rarely full and the EV charging spaces are heavily used. But it looks like they decided not to.

I think that was bit of an ignorant request, don't you?

Not really, there are a minimum of 10 disabled spaces on each of the six levels on that side of the car park alone and additional standard spaces on the other side (actually closer to the door and with more surrounding space) that could have been reallocated as disabled.

There are only two EV charging spaces and the disabled space that would need to be repainted is the furthest from the door and beside a pillar for good measure.

Just on the topic of the Dundrum EV spots, I cannot understand why they have not allowed for two EV parking spaces at these chargers?? It is possible to stretch the cable if the 'normal' parking space (to the right of the pillar) is free, but the other charger only allows for one car to charge!

The posts here are a bit out of date, but the topic isn’t, so I thought I’d ask a question here:

The chargers on Level 2 are run by a UK company called Pod Point. They seem to cut off after 15 minutes, unless you register for their service. But the service, and associated app, doesn’t seem to recognise that any Irish chargers exist.

Has anyone figured out what’s going on here?

You don't need the app. I charged there >1h without problems. They might introduce charges in the future but for the moment is free vend

Interesting. Wonder why mine cut off then. The i3 can sometimes reset chargers when locked/unlocked, which is a bit annoying.

FYI there is also the slow charger on the main street of Dundrum village just up from the cinema entrance/food village which is handy.

It's outside a bank, I think it's Bank of Ireland. I can't rememeber what the charges are to park on the street off the top of my head but if you have the Parking Tag app you can just top up from the phone.

    Is it tethered or untethered?
