Work away from home a good bit so away from rig during the week. Anyone in similar position?

Any recommendations on how to play on the go? Wheel is out of the question of course but was thinking about investing in a pad for laptop

Just my opinion, but you wont be really "Sim`ing" without a wheel mate.
That would be a form of torture to me :)

    Do you have a gamepad?

I suppose a gamepad with decent triggers would be the best thing in this situation.

Xbox 360, Xbox One, or a PS4 controller.

The PS3 controllers triggers aren't as comfortable.

Get yourself a big old Transit van, set your rig up in the back of it and run an extension lead out to it for power. Hell, you could smoke in it if you wanted to.
Or you could just get a controller and game on your laptop I suppose.
