I got a Guinness Wallet a few years ago, yes they are a bit dear but they last. Mine has 6 slots for cards, pouch for coins and 2 slots for notes. Also the more the leather ages the better it looks
    Its similar to this

I got one of these from Ridgewallet. Perfect minimalist wallet.

I got this one in marks and spencer

It's €35 but it's leather and ticks all the boxes for me

I have a couple of nice brown leather wallets from Tommy Hilfiger. About 8 months ago I bought a Secrid wallet from B Cool in Dundrum and I love it, can't see myself going back to the other wallets.

I'd highly recommend Bellroy wallets, they're great quality and look great.

Valextra make beautiful wallets. Simple designs with excellent materials and workmanship.

I would recommend a card holder over a wallet, if it has space for notes. My girlfriend got me a Dunhill card holder for my birthday, which has two slots on each side (perhaps there are ones with six in total) and a pouch in the middle. It's beautifully made and takes up so much less space than my old wallet.

Look up Secrid wallets. They are great looking and protect against cards bring remotely read.

I'd second the card holder idea if it would work for you OP. It's a lot less bulkier than carrying a wallet. I've a Goyard one and the quality is great and it's far easy to bring with me when I don't want that annoying bulge you get from a wallet.

Never heard of them until I saw this thread. Picked one up yesterday in Dublin. They are, as said above, class.

The OP picked up a Duchamp leather wallet on the sale section of their website for a pittance (compared to full price). It's worth keeping an eye out for high end brands with sales.

I spent a lot of time recently looking for a good wallet, I had a capsule wallet. Was nice and compact but a bit awkward at times getting cards and cash out plus didn't block RFID.

Ended up getting the slimfold soft shell wallet with RFID blocking. Great wallet and great size, worth looking at.

I second that, I have one and it's the best wallet I've ever had. Slim, and also has a hidden fold where you could put notes and no one can see them when you open the wallet.

When I bought mine the sales man told me to steam it with an iron as it will prevent it marking. I didn't bother......he was right.

Picked up a secrid card protector with cash band today in Bertoni in St Stephen's green shopping centre. 40 quid. Very minimalistic, I like it.

Looking for one myself. Looked for one with rfid after seeing a Secrid wallet but at €40 was a bit pricey.

So just kickstarted this one. At 19usd I don't think I can go wrong.

The price depends on which one you want. I think they start around €30.

They seem pricey but they are well well worth it. I have the Vintage Brown one (http://www.thegadgetstore.ie/secrid-wallet-vintage-brown.html) which was €60 but they hold everything you need in a slim line, they have the RFID protection and the little spring to get the cards out makes life so easy. The leather is ageing gorgeously too. I don't think I could go back to a normal wallet now tbh.

I have one and it doesn't hold change, that was made me think twice before buying, but in the end it didn't matter. They are a great wallet, mine is lasting very well and it's small and neat which were my main requirements

TBH I've never or never have I seen a guy with change in his wallet. That's what ur pockets are for. It's a wallet and not a purse.

A mate of mine does it. it's a purse he needs !!! He carries a wadge of coppers . Idea of wallet is to be slim and tidy can't be done carrying coins
