    Long shot I know

Family member abroad has crashed his 92 Calibra 200i 16V.
The driver side headlight unit is smashed and needs replacing. He's looking to replace both sides so needs a set of headlights.
The front bumper is also dented, not sure if can be repaired so asked me to see are there any over here/UK/EU.
Preferably silver, but any colour will do, he will get it sprayed.
As far as he is concerned any lights or bumpers from the 89-97 range should fit, im not sure how accurate that is.
Maybe someone here has what he needs or knows someone that has it.
Or whats the best place to check for these things?

    Thanks for any help.

Try contacting all the breakers in the sticky "Map of all Breakers/Salvage/Scrap Yards in Ireland"
You can also check adverts.ie and donedeal.ie to see if someone is breaking their old Calibra

Probably have more luck in the UK.

By abroad, do you mean a LHD country though?

    Cheers Biko.

I stuck this up first just to get it out there.
Am currently contacting the breakers on that map closest to me first (north dublin) Seems to be plenty across the country so might get lucky.

    @Colm

Im checking UK sites too. Theres a guy on gumtree posted a set of headlights 20 days ago, so im waiting for a reply from him, small chance he still has them.

Its for a right hand drive. Im assuming that makes a difference for the lights yes?

The price alone to send it out could be very high indeed.
I assume he/she has looked into get the damages repaired? You can build anything these days out of body filler.

Meeting insurance assessor today to see are they going to repair or scrap. Initial chat was leaning towards scrapping. Probably because there was only ever 200 brought into the country so to find parts 20 years later to replace would be too expensive or impossible locally. If they do scrap he still wants to keep it and repair it himself.

Im not sure if he is aware of how much it will cost exactly, but I have warned him that it can be quite high. And to courier a bumper from here to there and still have it arrive in 1 piece is another risk too. The lights might not be too big of a hassle, but still expensive enough.

Nearly sourced a pair of headlights from a guy in scotland for £30, excluding postage.
But then my local breaker let me know they have a pair for 80 euro. Went with the local breaker since I could walk in right away and look at the lights before any money changed hands.
Fairly sure the postage from UK to here wouldve made that set more expensive anyways.
Local guys have a bumper too if needed, so good shout going with the map.
